TUA Concludes Executive Leadership Program with First Cohort of Graduates

Trinity University of Asia (TUA), in collaboration with the (AIM) School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning, completed its Building a Sustainable Growth Blueprint: Executive Leadership Program, with the second session held from March 25 to 27, 2026, and culminating in a graduation ceremony on April 17, 2026.

The second session focused on Leading Self, People, and Operations, bringing leadership work closer to daily practice across the University.

On Day 4, participants worked on systems thinking and risk management. They examined how decisions affect interconnected units and how leaders can better anticipate challenges and respond to complexity.

Day 5 focused on people leadership. Through coaching sessions and discussions on performance culture, participants explored how to develop talent, strengthen accountability, and improve team performance across academic and administrative units.

On Day 6, participants reflected on personal values and purpose, and considered how leadership must respond to ongoing change, including the growing role of artificial intelligence in education.

The program concluded on April 17, 2026, with capstone presentations from six learning teams. The projects addressed key institutional priorities, including cost management, international engagement, campus sustainability, research systems, revenue and collections, and a proposed holistic health and wellbeing center for students and employees.

The closing activities included messages from University leadership and partners, awarding of certificates and recognitions, and a response from the participants.

The work developed through the program continues to take shape in how the University supports its students, engages its faculty and staff, and carries forward its priorities.

TUA Nursing Students Win Best Poster Award at 29th EAFONS 2026 in Singapore

Students of St. Luke91ÇÑ×Ó™s College of Nursing received the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 29th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS) 2026, held February 26-28, 2026 at the University Cultural Centre of the National University of Singapore.

The forum gathers nurse scholars and graduate researchers across East Asia to present studies addressing emerging challenges in healthcare. This year91ÇÑ×Ó™s conversations centered on how innovation and digital integration are reshaping nursing practice and education.

Representing the College were 29 participants composed of fourth-year nursing students and faculty members. Faculty member Mr. Allan A. Valenzuela also delivered a poster presentation during the forum. The delegation was accompanied by Research Coordinator Mr. Robert Matthew A. Marquez.

Their award-winning study, 91ÇÑ×ÓœeHealth Literacy as a Moderator of Health Anxiety and Cyberchondria among Health-Minded Adults in Selected Barangays in Quezon City,91ÇÑ×Ó examined how digital health literacy influences the way individuals process online health information. As more people turn to the internet for medical guidance, the study explored how levels of eHealth literacy can either mitigate or intensify health anxiety and cyberchondria. By grounding the research in selected barangays in Quezon City, the team situated a global digital concern within a local community context.

The research was conducted by Amanda Patricia Olivia D.G. Cruz, Trisha Marie O. Dalino, Stephanie D. Delgado, Pia A. Delos Santos, Heart Vallery S. Dimaano, Gianna Athena P. Donaire, and Meg Loren M. Dulnoan, under the guidance of their research adviser, Dr. Tristan Jourdan C. Dela Cruz, Head of the Graduate School of Nursing of St. Luke’s College of Nursing.

The team was the only Philippine recipient of the Best Poster Presentation Award at this year91ÇÑ×Ó™s forum.

The study contributes to ongoing discussions on digital health behavior in the region that links community-based research to broader conversations on nursing practice in the digital era.
